Sam Gagner? Minnesota? What?
I just read that Sam Gagner of the London Knights and a member of the 2007 Canadian National Junior team is from Minnesota...anybody know how a Minnesotoan (whatever you call them) ends up on Team Canada?

It is simply possible that he was born there while his father played. |

Patick Eaves was born in Canada, but has played for US Jr's. His dad is Mike Eaves. He was born in Calgary while his dad was playing for the Flames. It's bound to happen.

Zach Parise is also from Minnesota, and US player, though his father Jean-Pierre played for Canada...
